Cloverleaf Lakes
Located 4 miles north of Clintonville, enjoy boating, fishing and swimming in this area of lake beauty.

Sturgeon Spawning on the Embarrass River  Get an upclose look at these enormous fish as they make their way up the Embarrass River to spawn.  Spawning takes place in April or May when the water reaches 50 degrees.  Contact the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce at (715)823-4606 for more information.

Pigeon River  Five miles long, flowing shouthwest through the center of the city.  Fish species: smallmouth bass, northern pike, panfish and forage species.  Access for fishing or boating available at several points in the area.

Pigeon Lake  A 218 acre impoundment created by a dam on the Pigeon River.  Fish species: northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, rock bass, pumpkinseed, bullhead and white sucker.  Boat access at several points.

Upper Wolf River Corridor  Located six miles east of the city.  Part of an 18-mile corridor from Shawano to Leeman.  Includes extensive wetlands and woodlands.

Woodlands and Wetlands  Woodlands within the city located primarily along the eastern shore of Pigeon Lake and along the banks of the Pigeon River.  Around the ciry, woodlands are located primarily north and south of Pigeon Lake.  Identified as a high value wildlife area in east central Wisconsin.
