Fishermans Park
This park provides shoreline fishing and an area to picnic while doing it. This stretch of the Wolf River is very popular during the seasonal runs of different species of fish. Site features include: paved shore fishing areas, large parking lot, 2 portable restrooms, 3 trash cans, picnic tables, open grass picnic/play area. Located under the Hwy. 10 bridge in Fremont off of Cty Rd H.
Partridge Lake Park, locally known as the Fremont Beach, is located at the intersection of Lake Street and Wolf River Drive. The marked swimming area has a sand beach. Picnic tables, grills and an open sided shelter is available for picnics. A restroom with running water, pay phone and soda machine is near the shelter. The beach is "use at your own risk" with no lifeguard on duty. No watercraft allowed in the beach area.
Wolf River Crossing Park is located on the west bank of the Wolf River, under the Highway 10 bridge, south of the downtown area. A picnic/recreation area located in the southwest end of the park is available with playground equipment, volleyball net, and basketball hoops. Also an open-sided shelter can be reserved for parties. The lagoon area near the parking area is a popular spot for the yearly Fremont Area Law Enforcement Children's Fishing Tournament.
